This month is Stress Awareness Month and One You Merton is supporting the Stress Management Society’s new 30 day challenge to help you to form positive habits for 2021.
The last year has been difficult for most people due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many people have been very stressed as a result.
Research by the Stress Management Society showed that 3 main concerns of people during the last year have been feelings of disconnection, uncertainty and a lack of control in their lives. This is why the focus for this years Stress Awareness Month is ‘Regaining Connectivity, Certainty and Control’.
It takes roughly 30 days to form new habits which is why the Stress Management Society have created a challenge for people to choose an action for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing to do each day.
